Timeslide is the most amazing power at the disposal of the Gentech.

Through its use, the Gentech may modify a Bodyslide to move not only

themselves but an entire room forward in time. This resets the

room and all of its contents instantly. To perform this power

takes all of the concentration, and all of the mental powers of

the Gentech member due to the fragility of the bodyslide parameters

and the intensity of power that must be used to accomplish it.

The first slide per reset is granted at rank 10 and one additional

slide is granted at both rank 30 and 45.

Although the experiment for Timeslide may be performed at a low

rank of 10, it is not recommended that anyone proceed with the

experiment until a rank of 15. Once the experiment is complete,

to gain more timeslides the Gentech must complete an additional

phase in the power as well as reach the rank requirement stated

above.

During any given reset, one room can not be slid more than three

times by all Gentech members. If someone else has slid the room

during a reset, then you will have to wait until the temporal

fluxations diminish and sliding is again possible. To check to

see how many times a room has been slid within a particular

reset type: 'timeslide query'.

The cost of Timeslide is 1000 power units. You must have a minimum

of 200 spell points and 300 hit points. At completion of the

slide, due to the mental and physical stress of sliding, you

will find you have only 1 hit point and no spell points.

Upon phase 3 of Timeslide you may remotely timeslide other players

in the realms with the same costs and restrictions to yourself as

stated above. To do so you must purchase a Timeslide-Link Bracer

from the guild stores and then 'impart <name>' it to any player.

You may only have one bracer imparted at a time. Because of the

extreme amounts of power required to acomplish a remote timeslide,

you must stand in a room that has a remote timeslide-link pad.

This pad will momentarily boost your energy levels and allow you

to complete the remote timeslide. HQ has one of these pads as do

each of the dropships.

To check who currently has your imparted Timeslide-Link Bracer:

'timeslide check'. And, if you wish to remotely deactivate and

destroy your Timeslide-Link Bracer: 'timeslide deactivate remote'.

NOTE: All of the restrictions that apply to the local timeslide,

also apply to the remote timeslide. Also, the target player

will be hit for some hit points and spell points, and they

must be wearing the bracer that you impart to them.
