Pre-Req: Combat Tactics

Through the use of modern technology, Gentech scientists have invented a

small, portable holographic projector. In the labs, this device provided

hours of amusement for the technicians as they simulated their own

hard at work images while they were actually safe at home, sleeping.

Their bosses reported that the images were so lifelike, they never knew

the difference.

This miracle technology can now be yours. By purchasing the "hologen"

device in the Gentech shop, you can use the device to foil those

evil biological units that would attempt to follow you away from

combat. As long as the hologen is active, your foes will instead follow

the holographic image, attempting to engage it in battle.

Be warned, however, this technology is not perfect. Due to the large power

requirements, the image can only be sustained for a very short period

of time (less than 1 minute of "real" time). Most monsters can then use

the leftover hologen projector to track back to your casing and will

immediately re-engage you in combat.

Additionally, scouts have reported that this weapon is less than effective

against some aggressive members of society -- known only as the PK faction,

these monsters are said to possess a superior ability to see through the

hologen, although, even they have been confused from time to time.
